1. Overview
HustleHawk ("we", "us", "our") is a platform that connects homeowners with local service contractors. By using our website or services, you agree to these terms.
2. Service Requests
Homeowners can submit service requests without creating an account. By submitting a request, you authorize us to share your contact information and request details with a matched contractor. HustleHawk does not perform the services itself — we facilitate the connection between you and an independent contractor.
3. Contractor Accounts
Contractors must provide accurate business information and maintain valid licenses and insurance as required by their jurisdiction. HustleHawk reserves the right to suspend or terminate contractor accounts that violate these terms or receive consistent negative feedback.
4. Payments
Payments are processed through Stripe. Contractors receive payouts directly via Stripe Connect. HustleHawk does not hold funds or act as an escrow. Payment disputes should be resolved directly between the homeowner and contractor, with platform support available if needed.
5. SMS and Communications
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages related to service requests, status updates, and appointment coordination. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. Standard message and data rates apply. We will not send marketing SMS without separate opt-in consent.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of photos and content you upload. By uploading, you grant HustleHawk a non-exclusive license to display and transmit that content as needed to provide our services (e.g., showing property photos to your assigned contractor).
7. Limitation of Liability
HustleHawk is a marketplace platform. We do not guarantee the quality of work performed by contractors. We are not liable for damages arising from services performed by contractors found through our platform. Our liability is limited to the fees paid to us, if any.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate their account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, outstanding payment obligations remain in effect.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
