3. SMS Communications

By providing your phone number, you consent to receiving SMS messages related to your service requests, including status updates, contractor contact, and appointment reminders. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance.

We share your contact information and request details with the contractor assigned to your job. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We use third-party services (Stripe for payments, Hetzner for photo storage, Neon for database hosting) that process data on our behalf.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest) to protect your data. Secrets are encrypted with SOPS and stored securely.
